Spiderman 3

Finally got round to going to see Spiderman 3 last night and to quote and old and very much loved saying "I'm never going to get that time back" It was shit!!! Also because I was so excited about going to see it, it made it all the more painful to watch too. :(

It started off with a "previously on 24" intro. Now don't get me wrong I love 24 and it works for that show, but not for Spiderman 3. It then took ages for the plot of the film to appear (which once it got up and running there wasn't much of anyway), it was all CG'd as well, which in a film like that you would accept. But in this case it was blatantlt obvious in some parts. You didn't get to see much of "Spidey" flapping about during the day either. It was mainly at night, which means that they saved a heap of money.

I can't see where they spent all that money on. Well maybe the big fan fair for Peter Parker. Plus the amount of shit actors that they had to shell out for. Especially the singing voice for Mary Jane (pmsl). There was a shit news reporter too, I'm guessing by the accent she spoke in. It was supposed to be an English accent (if not then my sincerest apologies). The acting was diabolical all round really. Very very disappointed.

The only good thing about it was the fact that we went to the Odeon and it was near empty so we could stretch our legs out when they got to cramped. It's sad to say that the only thing that took my mind off of the shit on the screen was the pain in my ass. The seats as always were unbearable.

COME ON ODEON sort yourselves out! All you need to do is clean up the place, especially the floor in screen 1. I had to be yanked off the floor by a crane it was that sticky. Oh and make the chairs a bit larger aswell please, if it's not too much trouble? Although there were only about 20 people in the cinema, it felt like I was sat next to all of them.

Odeon if your out there and reading this, (and please send answers on a postcard as to why you wouldn't be) IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOSE ALL YOUR BUSINESS TO THE VUE THEN GIVE YOURSELVES A BIG KICK UP THE ASS!!!! You have been the most prominent cinema in Exeter for a long time and we would hate to see you go even more down hill. Dropping your prices obviously isn't working well is it? I did notice that the staff were a lot more helpful and pleasant though, so that's a good start. Lets just hope that if you get a lot of your customers back that these little but lovely changes will still stay in place.

Are you really going to give up so easily? Yes or no? Again answers on a postcard. Thanks.

Oh another added bonus was that the Odeon are only charging £4.50 a ticket!!! Bonza!!

Roll on Pirates of the Carribean. I nearly creamed my pants watching the trailer.
