Global Warming

Having just finished watching An Inconvenient Truth, there wasn't a lot about that program that I can complain or disagree with. The one thing that Al Gore has manged to do instead of feeding us a lot of crap on statistics, is actually answer all the questions that I believe needed to be answered. He covered every avenue, and explained it in great detail and for blonde's like me he also explained it in layman's terms.


It is certainly something that I believe we all need to start thinking more about. I know that the majority of us are already doing the small things to help, which in all honesty is all we can do for the moment. I also believe that there is not a lot more that we can do to prevent Global Warming. You hear a lot of people say that we need to prevent Global Warming from happening, but the harsh reality of it is, is that we cannot prevent it. From some of the pictures that Al Gore shows you in the movie it has already got to the point where it has happened and cannot be reversed. The only thing we will be doing to help is slow it down. Although his slides show that the most damage has been done in the last 30-40 years.

Anyway I recommend that you watch it, as it is a good film and you will be amazed at some of the pictures he shows as to how Global Warming has already affected our planet.

It's a shame no-one listened to Al Gore when he first mentioned this to the American Government, if they did then maybe back then something could have been to done to prevent it getting in the state it has today....
